Or alternatively (although less flexible) a combination of loadfile,
filter and copy?

<filter token="textToReplace" value="${text}"/>
<copy file="theFile" toFile="targetFile" filtering="true"/>
(Notice that the marker needs to be @textToReplace@ in the above
example.)
