Ant and Ping

Hi Gurus

Is there a jar file out there that provides ping task to verify if a host
connection is working ?

Another approach I have is to use cgwin with ant

ping linpacdb1 -t 1 | sed '1,4d' | grep -o 0.0



But I'm still getting no/wrong output.

     [exec] ←]0;~
     [exec] [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ←[33m~←[0m
     [exec] $ logout

What am I doing wrong ?
