yup, you're right.
The manual is great in comparison
to other open source, but incomplete sometimes ...
1. It is of course covered in Ant in Action
2. I've just added a section in the docs, under using.html,
Remember, Ant's docs are open source: anyone is free to extend, correct
and rewrite content!
