you might try something like the following:
<scp todir="${u}:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:${build.dir}"
trust="true" verbose="true">
<fileset dir="${src.dir}">
<include name="${src.file}"/>
</fileset>
</scp>
trust is important
verbose will give you more details.
