Hi Gareth,

Subsystems is now part of the Aries build, but there has not been a release
yet. With the new "release by module" scheme, we could do a 1.0.0 release
at any time, but it would require coordination with 1.0.1 releases of Util
and Proxy. So, I think the exact timing of a release would be determined by
demand. In the meantime, Subsystems is definitely supported and available
for use. Please be sure to report any issues at
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARIES.

The specification was released a few months ago, so you can count on the
first release of Aries Subsystems not deviating from the API described
there. The OSGi Enterprise RI/CT release will be in November. Aries will be
the Subsystems RI and passes the CT.
