By the way, if you're accustomed to using felix bundle repository (obr), there is an adapter in Aries that would allow you to continue using it with subsystems. You would need to install the org.apache.aries.subsystem.obr bundle separately (from the subsystem-obr project) as it's not included in the org.apache.aries.subsystem uber bundle you currently have installed.
