AFAIK the invite link for non-committers was deactivated at some point due to spam issues. Committers and PMC can use the "register account" link in the top right corner to create an account with their @apache.org address.
I would like to use this thread to point to the arrow zulip (oss slack) [1] that is much more active than the asf slack arrow channel!
