Hi everyone, I recently submitted my first PR (GH-49719) which was a small fix for renaming the vendored date header guards. It was a simple task but I really enjoyed working through the codebase and I'm excited to keep contributing. I'm most interested in storage, I/O and memory management. I've been looking through cpp/src/arrow/io/ and cpp/src/arrow/dataset/ but most good first issues seem to be taken already. Are there any areas that could use help? Happy to start with anything small like tests, bug fixes or cleanups. Thanks for your time!
