Austin -

I really like your idea for an Apach Beam cookbook. I've struggled quite a
bit on implementing things which conceptually were not that difficult to
understand, but when confronted with the Beam programming model, were
(initially) a complete mystery to me. I've had trouble finding appropriate
examples. I think something like a book of beam recipes could have helped
me significantly in the past few weeks.

For example: understanding the "Contextful"-ness in the FileIO
writeDynamic() API took me way too long to grok. Just having an English
description of this API which tried to explain to(), by(), via(), UserT,
DestinationT etc. - and a corresponding example - would have been immensely
helpful.

I'm not sure I'm really qualified or capable to help, but would certainly
cheer you on (and likely purchase) something like this.
