DWR pratically enables javascript-based Controller tier, thus breaking the
necessity of beehive pageflow.

I would suggest another approach for Beehuve: using a combination of Rico(
http://openrico.org/rico/home.page) and http://glm-ajax.sourceforge.net/

I have personally used them in a conference demo for Beehive pageflow quite
successfully :-)
