You can do this pretty easily using annotations on the form bean fields.

Hi, I am very new to weblogic and i am presently using weblogic 9.2. can
any one of you please help me in validating the form bean data.
   
  It is a simple form containing username and passowrd and i have to
check if the username and password fields are empty or not and the
username field should be all string, i do not wish to use any java
script.
