Ambari 2.7.5 just only supports Centos-7, so Bigtop offers CentOS-7 RPMs and added Ambari metrics services just for CentOS-7 in Bigtop mpack. If you wish to build your own Ambari metrics RPMs for Rocky Linux 8, you can add the 'rocky' field to the build script for your personal use: https://github.com/apache/bigtop/blob/master/bigtop-packages/src/common/ambari/do-component-build#L34
