Hi All, I have been trying to use Castor, the situation with me is that I have a very neat immutable domain objects (no setter methods but private attributes!)
I misinterpreted the attribute direct="access" thinking castor will directly populate the private attributes of my domain objects but it wasn't working that way, then after some search over the internet I landed up into this discussion - http://docs.codehaus.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=44418 Can anybody let me know if any decision has been taken on the issue of allowing Castor to manipulate private attributes of a class? I would be happy if any patch is available to address this issue. Any quick response is much appreciated!!! Many Thanks, John
