Load DataSource (opt.)

In the modeler, when looking at a node, one of the pop-ups is "Load  
DataSource (opt.)".

Does this work? I assumed that by picking that I wouldn't have to  
fill out the other sections of the screen, but I'm getting a:
java.sql.SQLException
The url cannot be null
I would have expected it to take my DB URL out of my pre-configured  
Data Source.
