I don't know anything about IBM Rational Robot, so you'll have to
figure out the details on your own.
However, DbUnit lets you load either static or dynamic data sets into
a database as well as compare data in the database to expected values.
There are ant tasks available for working with DbUnit if that makes
life easier.
Or you can write your own java tasks in Robot if it supports some kind
of java-based plugin.
