Hi Hugi,

I believe that's true, at least for 3.1.  I had this lying around somewhere
that seemed to work:

    public static boolean isChildContext(ObjectContext context)
    {
        if (context.getChannel() instanceof ObjectContext)
            return true;
        else
            return false;
    }
