Hello Jan, Thank you for the answer. I'd just like to avoid rebuilding entire views, and have the benefit of reindexing the document in whatever view it is needed. So it's pretty much exactly the behavior of updating a document, but without actually incrementing its _rev number. Can Couch do that? I promise I'll be gentle :) Nic
