Hi all,

https://github.com/polymerelements/app-pouchdb was mentioned in the May
26 CouchDB Weekly News. It is significant that it is also recommended
in the Polymer docs as the second of two recommended app storage options
at https://www.polymer-project.org/1.0/toolbox/app-storage. This might
be worth mentioning in a newsletter.

The significance here is that the fastest way to create a complete
Polymer app is to use the batteries-included app scaffold which is now
called the "App Toolbox." I believe this is what used to be called the
"Polymer Starter Kit." So, PouchDB stands to pick up some new users
from the land of Polymer developers, since Polymer (/Google) is
recommending PouchDB as a storage option similar to Firebase (Firebase
is their first recommendation.)

I recommend the CouchDB community scrutinize the wording of the "PouchDB
Elements" section of
https://www.polymer-project.org/1.0/toolbox/app-storage to see if
anything more should be said there. Specifically, if PouchDB works
better than Firebase offline, that would be useful to mention.
