Hello, I need to install CouchDB under SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 (SLES). I see that there are packages for Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL and CentOS but not for SLES. Additionally I see no couchdb packages with zipper (SLES package manager):
> zypper search couchdb Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... No matching items found. So this points in the direction of downloading the source and compiling it. I have experience compiling software for Linux, but I'm new to SLES. So, before I take this road, I would like to ask if there is any trouble areas particular to SLES to watch for. Needless to say, I'm in favor of having precompiled packages for SLES. Regards, Gustavo Delfino
