Hi,

I've added dependencies jars to my simple test project and now my basic
container works. Thank you !
I've also looked at test cases (sandbox) for some help about configuration
of roles and container, but I've found nothing that helps me to write my
container.xconf and my container.roles files. Can anyone give me some hints
or documentation links for that infos ?

Thank you for your time.

If you use fortress, you don't need to write roles files but you can use metadata collecting

I also am beginner to fortress. So I think I can help.

In addition, look at the testcases ! this _IS_ the best place. The (former) Avalon folks were 'nuts' (in a nice way) about writing test cases. Hope that helps.

Thanks, I will try again.

I searched a dependencies document... without success.

I think that Excalibur Fortress is a very good project, but startup-help
documentation is poor or not simply accessible (ex: where I could find a
reference for the format of logkit XML configuration file ? And for
container.xconf / roles.xconf ?).

Thank you very much, Mansour
