Thanks for the feed-back Ingo, Do you think a PR would be welcome to make that parameter configurable? At the place where I work, UUID are often used as column values and they are 36 character longs => very often a very useful piece of information to us is not readable.
I had a quick look, the max width seems to be defined in [1], and used in various places like [2] and [3]. Should I open a Jira to discuss this and cc you in it?
