Greetings,
Here's some quick notes I transcribed from todays' Geode Clubhouse Meeting.

A recording will be posted soon of the entire session.

The Geode Clubhouse does not replace decision making on these forums, or
other collaboration infrastructure. Geode Clubhouse meetings serves to
help users learn about Geode interactively and increase cohesion of the
Geode community.

Notes from the meeting:

Agenda:

New release candidate coordination
Scope for next release
Low hangiing new contributor fruit
Gradle creds on ASF Infrastructure
User education - New Offheap storage
Open questions

Anthony to push release candidate soon
Nitin pointing out a few inconsistencies with the release notes that don't
fit some discussions that happened in forums
Nitin and Anthony to look at release notes generated by change log JIRA to
make sure notes are correct and cleaned up as part of release process

https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=12318420&version=12334248

Docs are not currently part of Apache Geode project, but will see about
pointing back to Project Geode pre-Apache OSS site
Notation / tagging release

Next release: Empty JIRA log - need to write out scope for next candidate.
Need community to provide input.. Do we want to do time based or socpe
based? Nitin has some ideas mentioned in recording - can be applied to
JIRA later for decision making

Anthony would like to see a regular cadence for Geode releases

Good features for contributors to look at: Spark Connecter - partially
complete, Redis Adaptor - partially tested, Lucene Indexing - partially
completed.

Gradle creds on ASF INFRA - Roman says JIRA needs to be filed and can be
fixed by thursday

Awesome deep dive on new off heap memory storage feature by Edin. See
recording for replay once its posted.

Pivotal is hosting a user summit for Apache Geode on March 9 in Palo Alto -
call for papers is open, early bird registration ends Jan 29. See:
http://geodesummit.com/

Pivotal is also hosting a Meetup for Apache Zeppelin this Thursday at
Pivotal Palo Alto. Part of this Meeting includes discussion of a plugin
for Apache Geode allowing visualization of data from Geode's in-memory
store. For those who cannot attend in person, the event is broadcast via
LiveStream and will also be recorded and posted: See
