Alright, pushed out version 0.2 of the plugin that incorporates fixes for your feedback. Give it a try. I tested it with the Spock Web Console project as well as another project. gaeRun now uses the exploded WAR directory. Optionally, you can override this behavior by setting the convention property 'warDir'.
