Turns out there is a bit of a gotcha in here.
You need to replace:
> repositories.mavenInstaller {
with
repositories['mavenInstaller'].with {
The previous way was creating a new installer “handler”, where what we want to
do is actually configure the existing one put there by the maven plugin.
This whole area is under active development and will be simpler with the 1.0
release.
