Using Gradle and ANTLR 2.7.7 (*) I am finding that even when the antlr phase fails the classes phase reports success. I can sort of see why -- the antlr phase has not contributed any Java files so there is nothing to compile from there and everything else compiles. However this strikes me as not entirely right -- which may just mean I have failed to do the right thing in the Gradle file.
Should a fail in the antlr phase result in a fail? Thanks. (*) I would still prefer to use ANTLR 3.3 given it is the current version where 2.7.7 is 5 years old, but I need to get my application working now.
