we were looking at artifactory and nexus, but they do not solve one issue:
how to convince them to store the latest 10 versions and tag them as well.
i.e. if the latest/greatest version does not work, use an older. subversion
would be the obvious alternative, as it is webdav and therefor like
artifactory. but, it keeps the history of files forever and one has to drop
the repository at some point and recreate. git seems to be able to store the
latest x revisions:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/930612/git-remove-oldest-revisions-of-a-file.
is there a possibility to upload via webdav as well, or there is another
transport available?
