Hi Mike,

It would be extrange if the machine stoppedn answering or the network dropped
out. If I access from my local machine it works fine with Windows 10 RDP.

Yes, it happens consistently. Every time I access this machine after a few
seconds appears the message tha I have been disconnected.

RD Gateway is not involved.

I am using FreeRDP that uses the last Docker version. I don’t know how to test
that from the Docker container ☹

This is the network architecture. We access this machines routing through a
machine with openconnect (juniper protocol) in the cloud. We have guacamole
machine also in the cloud and it is working fine for other VPNs and more
clients. When I access from my local machine we also route through the machine
with openconnect in cloud. So, I don’t think it is an issue with Openconnect as
this was working with Guacamole 1.0.0

Br,
Pablo

Hi,

We are facing an error wirth Guacamole 1.2.0 docker version when we connect to
a Windows 7 or Windows 2012 R2 Stantard. I have done some research and I have
disabled the glypch caching and it seems to solve the issue with the Windows 7
machines, but we still have it with the Windows 2012 R2 Standard. This is the
log from guacd:
guacd[10]: INFO: Creating new client for protocol "rdp"
...
guacd[40]: DEBUG: All supported devices sent.
guacd[40]: DEBUG: BIO_read returned a system error 110: Connection timed
out
guacd[40]: DEBUG:       freerdp_check_fds() failed - 0
guacd[40]: ERROR: Connection closed.

This does not look like the same issue. The problem with FreeRDP and glyph
caching results in a very specific failure regarding processing of received
messages. This error looks more like a low-level network timeout. Is it
possible that the Windows machine in question stopped responding or the network
dropped out?

Does this happen consistently with every attempt to access this machine?

Is RD gateway involved? If so, do you see the same issue if you connect without
the gateway?

What version of FreeRDP is in use? If you attempt to connect using the FreeRDP
client (from the same build of FreeRDP and using equivalent parameters), do you
see the same behavior?
