Why are you using a file for access. Why don’t you connect it to your Active Directory? Then when you need to add a user you just do a search under users. I ended up removing all mine. I went with database and multifactor. Insurance demanded it.

With user xml I can set up a user with connections. I don't seem to be able to give that admin rights to make additional configs. I've added in a MYSQL DB but adding a LDAPS user to the MYSQL DB with admin rights also doesn't seem to give the config access I would like to have to set up connections for users. I'd like to avoid extending the LDAPS schema and make the connections from the MYSQL DB. I also would like to avoid adding a guacadmin LDAP account if possible. From what I have seen and read user mapping is completely separate from LDAPS auth accounts. I've tried adding guacadmin as an admin user in the MYSQL DB but still not seeing the ability to manage connections for all users. Right now I only need one connection for all users who access the web console. Later maybe I would like to add additional. I read somewhere that I may be able to create default connections with the guacamole REST API? What is the best way or, what are some ways to resolve this issue? Best Regards, Blake
