Thank you for the quick reply. After I changed git:// to https:// then I can clone the source.

It probably needs an update on this page: https://guacamole.apache.org/doc/gug/installing-guacamole.html#obtaining-the-source-code to correct the link.

I don't think git:// is a valid URL prefix - I think you can either use SSH URLs (g...@github.com/apache/guacamole-client.git <http://g...@github.com/apache/guacamole-client.git>) or HTTPS URLs (https://github.com/apache/guacamole-client).
