Hmm, I'd try openssl 1.0.2, but I don't see an alpine repository for it. Not quite sure how to go about building from source. I'd already tried downgrading FreeRDP (although there could be an interaction there).
I suppose another approach would be to start a bisect of guacd commits between 1.5.3 and 1.5.4. Seems possible to automate...
