A question

Hi,
   I am just begin to use hama ,but their is a question troubles me a lot.
   In the graph modle, I know the Termination criterion is that All
vertices have voted to halt and no more messages are in transit.But I am
confused what does the MaxIteration mean(used as job.setMaxIteration), is
Iteration equals to superstep????
