I'm using the script from https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-1621 to merge some regions on a test cluster running vanilla apache hadoop - 1.0.2 and hbase - 0.92.1, but not having any luck. After updating a few api calls the script now runs to completion, but it breaks the tables I'm running it against, leaving them without any regions (they have rows in .META though). Is this script known to work (or not) against 0.92.1? If not, anybody have a version that does?
