Instead, use the following method : org.apache.hadoop.hbase.client.coprocessor.AggregationClient.sum(byte[] tableName, ColumnInterpreter<http://hbase.apache.org/apidocs/org/apache/hadoop/hbase/coprocessor/ColumnInterpreter.html><R,S> ci, Scan<http://hbase.apache.org/apidocs/org/apache/hadoop/hbase/client/Scan.html> scan)
