RegexFilter extends AbstractPatternFilter.

Among the filters shipped with HBase, here're the ones which do row
skipping:

ColumnPaginationFilter
ColumnPrefixFilter
ColumnRangeFilter
FuzzyRowFilter
MultipleColumnPrefixFilter
