Hi, Has anyone explore on thrift java client for HiveServer2?
I have a java client in place which connects to HiveServer2 and gets table details. What I am yet to figure out is how to read the actual table content. How to get handle on table's storage descriptor. ThriftCLIServiceClient do not provide any methods to work with partitions/databases. Any pointers? Appreciate your help! MAny Thanks, Ghousia.
