Hi, I compared the HiveServer 1 and HiverServer 2 Thrift implementation. I'm asking myself why the straight forward methodes like .execute(String Query) and the three fetchX(x) methods defined in org.apache.hadoop.hive.service.ThriftHive.Client doesn't in the TCLIService.thrift?
Now we have to huzzle with things like TOpenSessionReq and TOpenSessionResp etc. Best Regards, Christian.
