This error is not related to the issue, it’s just an old DB type check that runs db-specific queries and sees which ones don’t fail. It has been fixed to not use db-specific queries lately.

The valid option in specifying a column is NOT NULL to specify that the column cannot contain any NULL values. Only constraints may follow the datatype. Specifying a maximum length on a DATE or LONG datatype also causes this error. So I may have to hack the metadata manually.
