I am trying to understand how delegation token mechanism works in Hive. 1) Use and flow of delegation token mechanism 2) Delegation token support is available with hive metastore and hive server 2. What are different context on which hive metastore and hive server 2 delegation tokens used ? I could find nice blog on role of delegation token in hadoop.
