Hello there, Apache Slider has been retired in favor of the YARN Service framework for a while now. I believe HIVE-18037 addressed this change on the Hive side -- for conf/deployment details this post <https://blog.cloudera.com/apache-hive-llap-as-a-yarn-service> might be useful as well.
