Hi, I'm able to successfully use the IntelliJ debugger and set breakpoints with Hive while using the MapReduce engine by running this command:
HADOOP_OPTS="-Djava.library.path=/usr/local/hadoop/lib -agentlib:jdwp=transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=7070" hi --service hiveserver2 However, the debugger doesn't trigger my breakpoints when I use the Tez engine. Do you know how I could configure things to work with Tez? Thanks, Julien
