Some questions:

Is it fully backwards compatible with Hivemind 1?

I can answer this with a clear: it depends.
I've started some documentation concerning this topic,
but it's rather incomplete in the moment:

(If yes then I hope that Tapestry 4 will switch to Hivemind 2 as soon as it is stable ;) )

I was able to migrate Tapestry 4 to HiveMind 2 within 15 minutes,
to give you an impression how backward compatible it is.


Another question: how easy is to customize the registry creation process?
For example can I create a @Contributed annotation to declaratively add a service to a configuration point? (I know it's not common requirement but in my application such a specific automatism would be great :) ).

I'm currently working exactly on that feature which I call
'Domain specific definition'. I hope to get it in for alpha-2.
