Take a look at docs: https://apacheignite.readme.io/docs/overview As far as I see in docs https://apacheignite.readme.io/v1.6/docs/base-concepts there I found such note; ---------------- Current implementation of org.apache.ignite.cache.store.cassandra.utils.datasource.DataSource doesn't implement Serializable, thus for distributed Ignite clusters, CassandraCacheStoreFactory could only be setup through Spring XML file, but not from code ---------------
