Do bear in mind that there is also a backlog of issues which have not
been scheduled yet.   In general, we try to be very much driven by user
demand.

The commit activity is reported to the JBehave SCM list:

As for the downloads, I'm sure if Codehaus has a way to monitor it.
Also, even if it did, it may not be too significant given that a lot of
people use Maven to pull down the artifacts from Central repo, which is
automatically synched with the Codehaus repository.

May I ask why you need this information?
