Hi Marius,

you make a good point and the idea of reusing scenarios (identified by a name) is something we can indeed consider.

The one point I would make is that composite steps allow you to define the grammar with variable parameters, that can be passed to the composed steps, while reusing the entire textual scenarios (but not sub-parts thereof), would be with the fixed parameters it has been defined with.

Can you propose some example use cases on which we can start formulating some ideas?

Cheers

Due to prevent duplication of step sequences by modularizing complex stories I want to define parts of them textual as scenarios/stories(/modules) which I can call from within the complex story by there name.

Composite Steps cover my need currently at the best. But I dislike the limitation that they must be defined by code. In my opinion composite steps are partial scenarios and should be part of the textual described artifacts.

The GivenStories feature has a limited use for this, since it's just for pre-requisites of stories or scenarios and it locates its executable by its path.

Are there any schedules related with the modularization of stories?

Cheers
