Yeah it's a similar type of app. It runs server side code after every field update and sends and receives context which needs to be dynamic. So I have to add json post processors to each request.

It looks like we both would profit from such an enhancement. I think it would be best to discuss this on the jmeter (or even the jmeter dev) mailing list.

 Felix

Hi Michael,

seems I sent the message to the jmeter user list, only.

Sorry,
 Felix

Thanks for resolving the JSON bug so quickly! There is another bug that was posted back in January that is also currently a blocker for us, but it doesn't look like anyone has taken a look at it.

The bug is: https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=58888

What is the best way to get the devs to prioritize certain bug fixes?
A good way is to get the devs to be interested in your enhancement requests. Perhaps by starting telling us why you need it by giving a user story.

I think I might be interested in this feature myself, but hadn't have the time to look at it.

I sometimes have to record jsf apps, where I would like to insert Post Processors to read ids out of the pages and automatically add them to the user variables, that are used for replacement while recording.

Is this something like your use case?

 Felix

Thanks!
