jp@gc – UDP Request - kg.apc.jmeter.samplers.DNSJavaDecoder - recursive DNS query

While using Sampler “jp@gc – UDP Request” together with Data Encode / Decode 
class: “kg.apc.jmeter.samplers.DNSJavaDecoder” to do a DNS lookup I noticed the 
request defaults to a non-recursive DNS query (0x0000 Standard Query).
Is it somehow possible to change it to a recursive DNS query (0x0100) ?
