There can be a lot of reasons for this. Have you checked, that you are using the correct credentials? Are you sure, that the JDBC-URL is correct? (Maybe your DB admins can check it?) In the file jmeter.log should be a more detailed error message, it might help, if you post that, too (remove/mask any confidential stuff in those error message).
