If you are using '-n' as shown, the GUI should definitely not be shown.
(You don't mean another CMD window, that might appear, don't you?)Is the GUI shown irrespective of the test plan? Does it help, if you use fewer options (like the ones for the report at the end)? Is the jmeter.bat the original start file, that came with JMeter?
