Apart from the query, you could tell us about the test plan, you are using. Which version of JMeter, Java, OS, DB? are used, but probably more important, the Database Sampler has many options, that can be set and will influence what you get. And last, how are you accessing the data, that the sampler fetched? And as always, look for errors/warnings in the log console and the log file named jmeter.log.
