Jira has not been raised about that for now. And agree for the SSO
(using ActiveDirectory, Kerberos, whatever), it could be interesting for
others projects too (like Camel, CXF, or ServiceMix).

Another thing came cross my mind, there is some tool out there for SSO
with ActiveDirectory support, we might consider also supporting this.
